2.2 Registration and Tickets: Participants may be required to register and obtain tickets for festival events. Registration details, ticket prices, and terms will be clearly communicated on our website. All registrations are subject to availability, and we reserve the right to refuse or cancel registrations at our discretion.
2.3 Code of Conduct: All participants are expected to adhere to a code of conduct that promotes a positive and respectful environment. Violation of this code may result in expulsion from the festival without a refund.

2.4 Refunds, Returns and Exchanges
2.4.1 Refunds: Full refunds are available up to 30 days before the event. After 30 days, refunds will not be issued.
2.4.2 Exchanges: Tickets are transferable. If you are unable to attend, you may transfer your ticket to another person.To initiate a transfer, please contact us to change the name and contact details on the ticket.
2.4.3 Event Cancellation: In the rare event of festival cancellation, every effort will be made to relocate the event to another date and time to accommodate this. Full refunds will be available if you are unable to attend.

2.5 Photography and Filming
‍2.5.1 Ownership and Usage Rights: A Taste of The Hills reserves the right to photograph and film festival events, activities, and participants. By attending the festival, participants grant the festival and its affiliates the irrevocable and unrestricted right to use, reproduce, and publish any photos or videos taken for promotional and marketing purposes.
2.5.2 Consent: By participating in A Taste of The Hills Festival, attendees consent to being photographed or filmed and acknowledge that these materials may be used by the festival without further approval.
2.5.3 Sharing on Social Media: Participants are encouraged to share their own photos and videos on social media platforms using the designated event hashtags #atasteofthehills #atasteofthehillsfestival. By using these hashtags, participants grant A Taste of The Hills Festival the right to access and use these photos for promotional and marketing purposes.
2.5.4 Tagging and Mentioning: Participants are welcome to tag A Taste of The Hills Festival's official social media accounts and mention the festival in their posts. By doing so, participants grant the festival permission to reshare, repost, or feature these tagged images on official festival channels.
2.5.5 Participants Rights to Opt-Out: Participants who do not wish to be photographed or filmed by A Taste of The Hills Festival or do not want their photos to be used by the festival for promotional purposes may request opt-out options by contacting the festival organisers.
2.5.6 Removal Requests: If a participant wishes to have a specific photo or video removed from festival materials, they may submit a written request to admin@atasteofthehills.com.au, specifying the content in question.

‍3. Intellectual Property
‍3.1 Website Content: All content on our website, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, images, and audio, is the property of A Taste of The Hills Festival and is protected by copyright laws. Unauthorised use or reproduction of this content is strictly prohibited.
3.2 Festival Materials: Materials distributed or presented at the festival, including programs, brochures, and promotional materials, are the intellectual property of A Taste of The Hills Festival and may not be reproduced without permission.
3.3 User-Generated Content: By submitting content to A Taste of The Hills Festival, participants grant the festival a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, reproduce, and modify the content for promotional purposes.
3.4 Trademarks: The name 'A Taste of The Hills’ Festival and associated logos are trademarks of our organisation. Participants are not permitted to use these trademarks for commercial purposes without express written consent.

‍4. Liability and Disclaimers
‍4.1 Limitation of Liability: A Taste of The Hills Festival and its organisers are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising out of or in any way connected with the use of our website or participation in the festival.
4.2 Festival Changes: We reserve the right to change, modify, or cancel festival events, dates, or venues at any time. In such cases, reasonable efforts will be made to notify participants in advance.
4.3 Assumption of Risk: Some festival activities may involve physical exertion or inherent risks. Participants acknowledge and assume all risks associated with their participation.
4.4 Force Majeure: In the event of circumstances beyond our control, such as natural disasters or government restrictions, A Taste of The Hills Festival reserves the right to modify, postpone, or cancel events. No refunds will be issued in such cases.

‍8. Venue Release and Indemnification Clause
8.1 Venue Usage
8.1.1 Grant of Use: Stratton Events Pty Ltd, trading as A Taste of The Hills ("Event Organiser"), hereby acknowledges that it assumes all risks associated with the use of the venue located at 41 Waters Road, Mount George, SA, 5155 and The Academy of Dressage Pty Ltd (the "Venue") during the event hire period for A Taste of The Hills festival.
8.2 Release of Liability
8.2.1 Release: The land and venue owner, Barrie and Sarita Strattion, and The Academy of Dressage Pty Ltd (collectively, the "Venue Owners") are hereby released from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions, or causes of action arising out of or related to the event. Participants and all other persons attending or involved in the event expressly acknowledge and agree that no legal action can be taken towards the Venue Owners for any event-related matters.
8.3 Indemnification
8.3.1 Indemnification: The Event Organiser agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Venue Owners from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorney's fees) arising out of or related to the event or the use of the Venue during the event hire period.
8.4 Compliance with Laws
8.4.1 Compliance: The Event Organiser agrees to comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and permits in connection with the event.
